Since 2006
Khums Trust is a nonprofit charitable organization established in 2006 with a mission to support individuals and families facing financial hardship while promoting sustainable community development.
For nearly two decades, the Trust has been dedicated to providing compassionate financial assistance to vulnerable families, helping them meet essential needs such as food, housing, education, healthcare, and other basic living expenses. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, Khums Trust has consistently supported approximately 4,000–5,000 families, offering timely relief during difficult times.
In addition to financial assistance, Khums Trust has worked to improve access to healthcare for those most in need. In collaboration with Abu Zar Trust (Habib Group), the Trust facilitated health insurance coverage for around 450 widows through MicroEnsure, an initiative supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in partnership with EFU Insurance.
Driven by the values of compassion, transparency, and accountability, Khums Trust continues to develop partnerships and initiatives that create meaningful, long-term impact. By addressing both immediate needs and the underlying causes of poverty, the Trust remains committed to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building healthier, more resilient communities for future generations

Supporting Children with Special Needs & Their Families
Care by Khums Trust provides education, care, and emotional support for children with special needs while offering much-needed relief to their families.
Caring for a child with special needs is a lifelong commitment that often affects the wellbeing of the entire family. Our program creates a safe, nurturing environment where children receive personalized attention, educational activities, and compassionate care.
Khums Trust, a not-for-profit charity, works with education professionals, schools, local authorities and government to shape policy, strengthen practice and improve outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities and learning differences. Rooted in research and evidence-informed best practice, our training, guidance and resources support inclusive education across early years, schools, and wider settings.

MedicsPoint provides healthcare education, medical support, and guidance to underserved communities through medical missions, outreach programs, and collaborative healthcare initiatives.
Originally launched through a health insurance initiative for low-income families, the program has expanded into comprehensive medical outreach designed to improve community health and access to care
